Life in a Day entry (7/24/2010) “Family is Everything” – with music and credits
This is my entry for YouTube’s “Life in a Day” project with credits and background music added. This was filmed on 7/24/2010 at a local park. This short video talks to the importance of family and the message was supposed to be simplistic in nature – which in real-life, took us forever to figure out. Please note that this was not the version that was submitted. The original version that was submitted had no music nor credits. I just wanted to add these for this video to add some fullness. Life in a Day entry (7/24/2010) “Family is Everything” – No music
This is my entry for YouTube’s “Life in a Day” project. This was filmed on 7/24/2010 at a local park. This short video talks to the importance of family and the message was supposed to be simplistic in nature – which in real-life, took us forever to figure out. Little factoid – while filming this, a boy walked up to me and asked me if this was for youtube. He later proceeded to try to get into the video. Harold, if you are watching this – sorry about not making it in. Maybe next time, we’ll shoot a vid together heh? 🙂 Please note that in compliance with guidelines, there is no background music. I am planning to upload another version that contains music and credits – but the new version won’t be submitted, just for fun of film-making.

The Scientist – an Unique Acoustic Cover
This is an acoustic cover of a song called “The Scientist” written by Coldplay. Ran into Murphy’s Law while trying to record this song finding both audio and video failing on their own schedules. Editing offered its own challenges (wound up having to reinstall the software) – guess this stuff happens if one lets things go too long. Special thanks to Meggie (who wanted to graciously be in the video) and JuJu (who I carried into the video). 🙂 BTW – my hair is lovely (I know). This is what happens after one rips sweaty headphones off their heads after several takes only to find that the computer crashed midway. …And also, what a $10 haircut looks like after 3 weeks. 🙂
