Eddy Wong – Love is Forever

Eddy Wong really surprised us. During one of the initial times when his family came to visit us, we cranked up the ol’ Karaoke machine and sang a couple of tunes. He said he wanted to give it a try and asked to put some Richard Marx in there, “Right Here Waiting”, he wanted. With no proper warming up or any hesitation, he just stepped right up there and sang pitch perfectly. Afterwards, he mentioned it was fun and hadn’t done that in a while. A natural talent we thought. A few months later, I helped him record this song. Although he mentions that he’s not too happy with it, I and everyone else who has heard it, is pretty satisfied. The song is in Chinese and is originally by performed by Jackie Cheung called “Love is Forever”.

You’ve stumbled onto my online journal, “Outrageous Thoughts of Babble”. I started this journal back in 1997 thus pre-dating terms such as “blogging,” which makes me feel secretively proud (snicker). Its purpose has always remained the same — to record life’s events as they happen – for they do happen quickly and fleetingly. Enjoy! 🙂
